Pete Whitridge has been a licensed massage therapist since 1988. He is a founder and Past President of the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) and has dedicated his career to helping establish high standards in massage therapy education. He teaches throughout the US and is a frequent speaker at FSMTA, AMTA, and FCA meetings and conventions. Pete served as Chair of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy and has served on the Board's Probable Cause Committee since 2016. He received the FSMTA Charles Canfield Award for dedicated service to the massage profession in 2004. He was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2016. Lee Whitridge holds an M.S. degree in Counseling and Human Systems, is a retired Licensed Massage Therapist and works behind the scenes coordinating details for Whitridge Wellness. Her lifelong interest in natural health and wellness led her to the Florida School of Massage where, in addition to becoming an LMT, she created and managed the Bookstore. Lee's essential oil education included advanced certifications through Aromahead Institute, as well as study in France with Dr. Daniel Penoel and trainings with Robert Tisserand and Gabriel Mojay. A Florida native, Lee feels passionate about nature and its preservation. She served on the Board of Trustees of Heathcote Botanical Gardens in her hometown of Ft. Pierce.
